Quiet Echo
My passion is finding the reflections, textures, and angles that make a viewer contemplate and linger at seeing my work. I want them to not just see something obvious, even if it is obvious, but I want them to wonder and wander. This day was particularly arduous. The trail was so full of roots and narrow spots for footing, and with 2 past knee injuries, I almost gave up and turned around, but I was more curious than my caution would allow. This photograph reminded me how so many things in life are in a sense reflections of other things. Experiences today may remind us of experiences of the past or have us contemplate a dream of some future tomorrow. Sometimes they get tangled as they do in this photograph, and it is hard to tell the difference between the periods of time and situations. In the end, this is life: a collage of all of them together.
