The Perfect Spot

An oil-based Clay Sculpture of a Highland Cow. These cute cows inspired me with their fun "hairstyle". Oil-based clay gives me the freedom to sculpt at any pace or time without worrying about the clay drying out. I can work from a wire armature and build in solid forms if needed. This pose of the cow laying down reminds me a lot of cats, in how they always seem to find the perfect spot to rest.
