Two Pelicans at Moses Lake Flood Gate

This was painted using WC on 300 lb Arches paper. Inspired by photo of Moses Lake Floodgate while fishing with daughter. I also saw several brown pelicans flying across the floodgates and added them to the painting. I chose white pelicans because it had a stronger composition and value contrast.
