This is made from a fallen tree that had obviously gotten to by wood peckers and as a bird lover I could just imagine the birds that might have visited that tree either nesting in it or pulling out little morsels of food. The birds are ones we frequently see on our property and are sculpted in clay, fired then glazed in a matte glaze and fired again
