Flame & Flow
Div. V-M, First place, Drawing
This drawing began as an experiment with a new set of colored pencils and white ink. I wasn’t sure where it would lead—but as I continued working, the piece slowly pulled me in. What started as practice turned into something meaningful.
Flame and Flow captures the graceful motion of a beta fish, with its flowing tail and bright, bold colors. The vibrant orange stands out as a central theme, bringing warmth and energy, while the soft blues and whites add balance and depth.
This piece was a joy to create, and through it, I gained not only experience but also a deeper appreciation for how color and movement can express beauty and emotion.
