Grandmother’s Attic

Grandmother’s Attic, Division III Emerging
Grandmother’s Attic
The ceiling beneath the weight of a mountain of boxes, sagged in a way as to make one feel they were always just an extra ounce away from it all crashing down. They were boxes filled with memories and mystery. Going through each one was both sacred and scary. This painting is the beginning of a series, “The Boxes in my Grandmother’s Attic.’
