Stairway To Heaven
Stairway to Heaven was created using acrylic paint and a palate knife applied on a stretch canvas. I love working with abstract because you can create as you progress so the art develops as you go on. In the top right quadrant is an image of Jesus Christ. He is in full robe in the colors dark green and gray brown. He has an outstretched arm pointing to the diagonal design extending up to the left upper quadrant. He is in full robe in the colors dark green and gray brown. The diagonal design from the top left corner towards and past the middle represents the stairway to heaven where he is telling you to go. The design was created starting from the top left and circling around the canvas to ultimately take you to the center towards Jesus then up the stairway (or escalator). The gold color is actually a metallic gold which catches and reflects the light from outside as well as from overhead lights. This adds a striking effect to this painting. I guess that's an AMEN!
