Olivia
This acrylic painting on a hardwood panel was totally completed with brush and paint. The painting is based on my granddaughter Olivia at about one and a half years old. After a weekend at our home her parents arrived to pick her up. She got a baby blanket out of her doll crib and motioned for me to tie it around her neck as a cape. She wanted to show her dad how she could fly around the room like super woman. So I picked her up and flew her around and my son snapped the photo I based this painting on. Look at the smile. Doesn't it make you smile. Me to. It was a happy pleasure to create this painting. Might I say this was my first portrait I have painted in about sixty years. All was done on a hardwood panel and acrylic paint. Fun, Fun, Fun!
